TapDash Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the TapDash mobile game (the "App", "Game", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you download and play it on Android or iOS. By using TapDash, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

None. TapDash does not have accounts, logins, or forms. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

Information collected automatically

When you play, the App and the third-party services it uses may automatically collect:

• Device identifiers — such as the Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA (where permitted), Firebase app-instance ID, and similar pseudonymous IDs.
• Device & app information — device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, app version, and general (country/region-level) location derived from your IP address.
• Gameplay & usage data — events such as games started, scores reached, game-overs, ads viewed, use of the "continue" option, sound toggles, and session length.
• Interaction data — taps, screen views, and in-app navigation, collected by Microsoft Clarity to understand how players use the game (see section 4).
• Diagnostics — crash and performance information that helps us fix bugs.

3. Data stored on your device

TapDash saves a small amount of information locally on your device so the game works the way you expect:

• Your best (high) score
• Your sound on/off preference
• A simple counter used to pace how often ads appear

This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. It is removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

4. Third-party services

TapDash uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles data:

5. How we use information

• To run the game and remember your best score and settings
• To show ads, including rewarded ads that let you continue a run, which keeps TapDash free
• To measure gameplay and understand which features players enjoy
• To find and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues
• To balance difficulty and improve the overall experience
• To prevent fraud and invalid ad activity

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

6. Advertising & your choices

Ads in TapDash are served by Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized based on your Advertising ID and activity across apps, unless you opt out. You can control this at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) → Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track.

If you opt out, you'll still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Watching rewarded ads is always optional.

7. Device permissions

• Internet / network access — to load ads and send analytics.
• Vibration (haptics) — for haptic feedback when you crash.
• Audio playback — to play game sound effects. TapDash does not request microphone permission and never records audio.

TapDash does not access your camera, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.

8. Sharing your score

When you tap "Share", TapDash opens your device's built-in share sheet with a short message containing your score. You choose the app and recipients. We don't see or store what you share or who you share it with; the app you share to handles that content under its own privacy policy.

9. Data retention & deletion

• On-device data (best score, settings) is kept until you clear the App's data or uninstall TapDash.
• Analytics data is retained by Google Firebase and Microsoft Clarity according to their retention settings (generally up to 14 months for Firebase event data and shorter periods for Clarity), after which it is deleted or aggregated.
• Advertising data is retained by Google according to its own policies.

Because TapDash has no accounts, we cannot link data to you by name. If you'd like us to request deletion of analytics data associated with your device, email us at the address below with your request and we'll do our best to help. You can also reset your Advertising ID at any time (see section 6).

10. Security

Data sent to our third-party providers is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we and our providers take reasonable measures to protect information.

11. Children's privacy

TapDash is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add features or change service providers. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use TapDash after an update means you accept the revised policy.
